Through a grant of HK$26.54 million received from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust Fund, we kicked off a 3-year project named "RESTORE" in June 2020.
HKSAS Jockey Club "RESTORE" Youth Empowerment Project aims to rebuild hope in our residents and to help them overcome and recover from their traumatic experience through youth empowerment. Residents will enable to explore their uniqueness and potential which leverage the new experience to triumph over different challenges. On different stages, from the first day of onboard to the day of leaving the Home, facilitates the Project to make a blueprint for service design which is further categorized into three main aspects. We believe encouragement and aspiration always accompany with residents' journey.
In responding to the need of residents, 3 core programs are launched base on different stages of residents' journey (from onboarding to ageing out) to build a positive and hopeful environment.
BOOST – Revamping Residential Children Care Service to TIC Program
Life Coach – Leaving Care and After Care Support
Care Journey – From Onboarding to Begin in Care Program

Let's take a look!
A diversity of training programs has been arranged for all staff members to deepen their understanding of "Trauma Informed Care". The Home also encourages staff members to apply the knowledge and skills throughout their daily operation for better provision of service to children.
Jockey Club Mark Memorial Home is the only home in HKSAS that accommodates both boys and girls, which has a capacity of 64 children, including 48 boys and 16 girls. "Family-oriented and people oriented" was our service rationale behind the upbringing for our children. A caring, nurturing and warm home-like environment with Christian tradition is offered to them as well.
